Job description
Role and Responsibilities
- Recruits for full range of positions for the organization, including light industrial, administrative, and professional
- Conducts prescreen calls, interviews, and candidate reference checks
- Ensures appropriate matches between position requirements and candidates
- Coordinates and works closely with onsite agency for on-boarding of new associates to support successful integration into the organization
- Compiles, maintains, and distributes recruiting data, metrics and reports
- Analyzes recruiting metrics to identify trends
- Assists in development of and administers recruiting strategies
- Coordinates and attends recruiting fairs and other offsite events related to recruiting
- Assists candidates, employees, and hiring managers with questions related to open positions and recruitment practices and policies
- Monitors and provides insight for recruitment work flow
- Ensures that all hiring practices are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Maintains all career opportunity postings for organization
- May conducts exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination
- Other administrative duties and projects as assigned
Skills, Education and Training
- Bachelors degree plus 3 years progressive recruiting experience for light industrial, administrative, technical and professional positions, or other equivalent combination of education and experience
- Thorough knowledge of State and Federal laws governing human resources and recruiting practice
- Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Applicant Tracking systems/Talent Management software; experience with Clear Company preferred
- Must have strong organization skills and the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Strong drive for results with the ability to operate successfully in a team based environment
- Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external contacts
